Reza Zarrab, a Turkish businessman accused of violating U.S. sanctions on Iran, pleaded guilty and will testify against his co-defendant, prosecutors and defense attorneys revealed Tuesday morning. Zarrab’s cooperation with federal prosecutors could have implications for Michael Flynn, who allegedly conspired to help free Zarrab while lobbying on behalf of Turkish interests. Zarrab’s case is reportedly part of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation.
